My name is Andrea Millington and I’m a professional translator and interpreter, fascinated and fulfilled by working with languages.

When I finished my five-year studies at Matej Bel University in May 2018, I was determined to take the path often feared by many fresh graduates of this field – the path of self-employment (perhaps more commonly known as freelancing).

YAKU is the product of my desire to work on my own. This way of working is ideal for me, because it allows me to devote myself to various activities – translation, interpreting, and teaching – while at the same time leaving me with enough time to pursue my biggest hobby, studying Japanese, which will hopefully appear in my language portfolio in the near future.
